Pwn2Own: iPhone via Safari hacked in 20 seconds, SMS data stolen

When Hacker Contest Pwn2Own could be cracked the iPhone. About a malicious website, it was possible to win two hackers through a security hole in Safari browser to access the full text database and then transfer them to any server.
The whole operation took no longer than 20 seconds, as zdnet.com reported. The hacker duo Vincenzo Iozzo and Ralf Philipp Weinmann use a malicious website, enabling them to access the SMS database of the affected iPhone. Even SMS, which had previously been removed, the two were not safe from hackers. The campaign has lasted much longer but on the whole. From the discovery of the vulnerability in the Safari browser to access the SMS data, according to Weinmann passed around two weeks.

Using the same method would be possible to access the SMS, including the stealing of the email data, the phone book or iTunes, images and tracks have been possible. The hacker piloted the iPhone to a malicious web site that led to the fact that the data is uploaded to an SMS database controlled by the hackers server. For their discovery Vincenzo Iozzo and Ralf Philipp Weinmann was at 15,000 U.S. dollars prize money and reward the previously successfully hacked iPhone.
Pwn2Own is an international competition in which security experts and hackers are trying with appropriate security holes in operating systems and browsers access to laptops, PCs and smartphones gain. Microsoft launches Windows MultiPoint Server 2010

Microsoft just announced the launch of Windows Multipoint Server 2010, the new system capable of supporting multiple users from a centralized server. Its aim is to penetrate more heavily in the education area also offers academic licenses cheaper than traditional.

Microsoft is pushing companies to rebel against Google
