Linus Torvalds already has a Nexus One … and likes

The creator of Linux says it does not like the phones because they “distract you from what you’re doing,” but his opinion about them has changed since Google is holder of Nexus One
Linus Torvalds, The man who created Linux, Recently published an entry on his blog talking about his recent purchase, the smartphone Google Nexus One. He did so precisely because the operating system that governs this device, Android is based on Linux. Torvalds says that “generally hate phones because they are irritating and distracting me while I’m working, reading and doing anything else.” However, the new terminal seems that has changed the way you see them: “I have to admit that Nexus One is a born winner. I had no intentions of buying it too, but the day that Google announced that multi option is enabled I decided finally to it. “
The creator of Linux suggests that one of the benefits that attracted him most was that of GPS, since the end of the day was also looking for one of these devices. So he decided and, as argued, the experience was very positive, especially with Google Maps Navigation, which is also a free service.
