iPhone OS soon on Apple TV and MacBook computers

Apple has released a job that is searched in an “Engineering Manager (Platform Bring-Up)” for the headquarters in Cupertino. This executive will lead the Core Platform team and the team with the iPhone operating system OS to port to additional platforms.

Exactly what the company intends, assumes the job of course, not apparent, but the detailed description text to the requirements of the job contains enough information to provide food for speculation. Applicants must bring experience with ARM-based chips. Such chips are used in many mobile devices such as the use, including the one presented in last month iPad.

Maybe Apple wants to use the operating system on Apple TV in the future; a new version of Apple TV has been around for a while, rumours. Perhaps, but Apple is also planning a mini-version of the MacBook Air with iPhone OS. That is not so far-fetched, Google’s mobile operating system Android is now so well on net books use. Why Apple should be limited iPad for devices of this size on the keyless? Whether on-board computer for vehicles, radio alarm or home automation, the technology blog is no conceivable purpose of use omitted for the iPhone OS just somehow inappropriate.

On the other hand, it is unlikely that Apple is even before the sales launch of the new Apple iPad decisions on devices with iPhone OS. How successful is the iPad, will largely determine whether venturing Apple with its iPhone OS into new areas. Basically, it gives meaning, however, the iPhone OS to bring on more platforms. The large number of apps and the large number of app developers offer the company from Cupertino good starting position.

Microsoft is pushing companies to rebel against Google

A case that has the air of revenge for the Redmond Company that has repeatedly been accused in recent years of abuse of dominance.

Google moreover suggested that Microsoft had prepared the plot that was because it became over time a competitor in many segments (online search and Web services, advertising, browser…). In a contribution posted on the blog “Microsoft on the Issues” (“Microsoft responds to questions”), David Heiner, Deputy General Counsel of the software company, returns to the complaint. The man scratches Google recalling that the latter is the subject of special attention in many countries vis its position in web search, online advertising and to a lesser extent, digitization of literary works. “Many services including search and online advertising are increasingly controlled by a single company, Google”, David Heiner concerned that pushes companies to move to mobilize and make a complaint against Google.

He said complaints against the search engine would have stopped growing in recent months with the rise of the latter.

Need traffic to increase the quality

It is also on the register of innovation that Microsoft wants to train the legislature. “Bing needs a volume of queries that are very important to increase the relevance of research findings concerning the words that are [...] is why Microsoft and Yahoo have pooled their search volume” explains David Heiner. Before concluding: “That’s why we’re concerned about Google’s business practices that tend to lock publishers and advertisers, making it more difficult for Microsoft to gain search volume. If a company cannot be punished for being successful with users, Microsoft’s position reflects the concerns of the latter: losing significant market share in a number of areas. While trying to return the situation to his advantage by taking the defence business.

Why 3D gaming and television will not succeed!

Sony sets great store by its 3D technology, which will come this year for the PlayStation 3 and will revolutionize gaming.

Is the future of games ie three-dimensional? Is that the great innovation to the gaming world has eagerly been waiting? We doubt TAC a little. 3D works in modern cinema is now quite good and can actually draw the viewer into what is happening inside, as for example Avatar has recently demonstrated the first place. This is transmitted to the console universe is to understand in principle.

Sony will bring in the summer a special 3D BRAVIA LCD televisions on the market and also an update for the PlayStation 3 All consoles will then come to enjoy 3D games and 3D Blu-ray movies. Update on the proposed implementation is relatively easy to implement technically. Especially in games that require movement, we can see potential. It is not therefore surprising that Sony will bring the same 3D technology for the new motion controller.
